PYLLON ULTRA POD: EPISODE 3

Doing a podcast is hard. I mean, you need to listen to the introduction of Episode 3 to find out just how one of us made this recording harder than it needed to be. Let’s just say it’s a good thing we are good pals!

Recording on Saturday (and then Monday) in the midst of a period of beautiful weather means this is hot off the press but goes back in time to get the story moving. Stephen King famously says all good stories start in the middle and this one is no different.

We step into episode 3, new microphones and kit at the ready, as the follow up to Adaptability Part 1 from last week. The focus is on how how Paul went from being Disco Dude and bearded social media guy at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 to where he is today and the part this critical skill played in that. He still has the beard and the Disco thing is just some lazy alliteration I made up for giggles. This is a story of a guy who takes a big bold and brave decision and how it is more than sheer chance that means it has paid off.

Paul goes deep into the subject and really opens up on his cares and concerns as he made the leap but also with lots of practical hints and tips for anyone who wants to make a change on any level. The synergy between Paul the runner, Paul the coach and Paul the business owner is super clear and the lesson is that they are all intertwined. Develop your toolkit in running and it will play into life, and vice versa. The virtuous circle of passion, aims and drive all come through Paul’s story.

There’s nuggets aplenty in this deep and personal podcast and we’d love to hear what you think. There’s even a follow-up competition to get you engaged in that.

So, get listening over at iTunes, Spotify, Podbean or wherever you get your pods from. Just search Pyllon Ultra Podcast and we will pop up at the top of your feed.
